This is an area that japanese anime kinda ignores. ;)

I guess there's Chiisana Viking Vickie and somewhat viking related Matantei Loki Ragnarok.

There's often a hundred in #anidb alone... so that's a bit more than 50. ;)

Well, if you don't want to do it don't, I'll solve it some other way. Probably less effort for me anyway since I don't have to import a dll (but heavier on the wallet :(). The first of the previous dlls have been public, the second never was made public because I couldn't get the bugs sorted out (wh...

It doesn't, because it's not released. Winners ship, losers brag about the many features of their vapourware. If you want a release with that in it, talk with epoximator, not me. ;) Nah, well if epoxi can't do it I have to find some other solution I guess. There won't be an aom.5 replacement anytim...

Honestly, the new category system is quite nice. Because you can both do searches on wide categories such as "school" and detailed ones such as "boing". As for maintaining it, we have baka-sama! He's not really human you know, so he can manage. ;) Must say I understand what you'r...

Well, the ADS thing in aom.neverarriving has been done since like forever but since it's not actually out yet it can still be changed. May want to know that aom will not accept ADS data provided by another application as it would be possible to submit bad data to AniDB, which we don't want. ;) As fo...

Avdump has a call to open files by file handle if I remember correctly, this does not have any unicode file name issues. However, it would of course require another program to open the file in question then call avdump dll with the handle. And yes, the tcp api isn't closed, if you show a good enough...

If ram or hdd space is a problem with aom... seriously just ask your parents for $50 and solve it... I just picked up a 1GB ram module for $35.

Are you certain you can connect to port 9000? or maybe it's blocked by your filewall / isp / something. You can test using telnet: telnet api.anidb.net 9000 If you can connect you should see something like: "WELCOME TO THE ANIDB API SERVICE" (the command to close the connection is "BY...

It works like this: - When an episode is added it has "Episode 07" as title. - If you then synchronize your aom with anidb it'll see "Episode 07" as title. - If the episode title is then changed but the episode itself remains unchanged aom will still see "Episode 07" as...
