Query volume might perhaps be easier to manage if you added a warning message which clients could respond to with a particular delay after which they're guaranteed to be safe.

You're doing something wrong if it's 11k, I use about twice that for screenshots from normal resolution video. (Especially if you're really trying for 8x8 pixels, not 80x80...)

I certainly want the proper redirect on single results or at least display of the aid on the anime page. Getting anime ids can be a bit of a pain with the current facilities.

Groups in anidb aren't a feature to give people "credit" for work done, they're to allow users to identify files from a common source.

And in my opinion, trip codes aren't much use for this either.

Just don't enter anything into the fields you don't want the search to be restricted by. As far as logic goes, I think that's unlikely.

Information for video aspect ratio is in the process of being added to the database. It may be feasible for this information to be display in the main file table views in the future. (The reason you've been watching more 16:9 anime recently is that there are more 16:9 tvs and 16:9 broadcasts in Japa...

...it has been. Why did you drag this thread up just after exp went ahead and implemented it? (Well, sort of; it's a very expish implementation.)

sha1 would have to be changed though, as shown in your example. (Not saying that this is a great problem.) But... why do we need support for it in the html interface, as I presume that's the feature request here? Magnet URIs may be gaining support, but they're not actually required by... well, anyth...

Usually by whom, precisely? No-one does this, ever.

There are some 2 or 3 fps files out there; I think you can imagine how that affects quality. (Although certain anime can get away with it.)

There's no problem unless you assume that the mean vote has to be meaningful.

I'm in favour of framerate, not because of 120 fps raws or even undecimated 30 fps video, but for the instances of (sometimes painfully) low frame rates. Playback aspect is also important, but I think representing it as "playback resolution" is wrong. The user can play it at whatever resol...

Actually, the ed2k-hash algorithm is a modified version of MD4... If you want to correct someone about ed2k/md4, just direct them to http://wiki.anidb.info/w/Ed2k rather than making misleading statements like that. (The ed2k file hash is generated by MD4, it's just not the straight MD4 hash of the ...
