expand all is definitely gone for good. It is just too heavy on the server and has too little real use. There are really hardly any good reasons why you would want to have an expand all button. The load issue with expanding multiple episodes will be solved once we put the new ajax version of the an...

but very offen, there are preview pics at the back of the cover.... Exactly, so when you buy an anime DVD, don`t look at the back of the cover, because it will spoil the show for you. I still am completely clueless why they still put so many spoilers in the 'summary' at the back, really. so people ...

well because one of the options i added to the ed2k links (or any kind of generated link) is the option to build your own costumized link , and if you want it doesn't need to have the crc field. So it makes sense, another point is that it doesn't cost me to add that to the crc icon title. and as i ...

... which is basically the same, except that you hover you mouse over an ed2k-link instead of an ed2k-entry in AniDB. Therefore I don`t really see the value of implementing this, really ... I mean, you can see whether it is crc verified or not based on the color of the entry, and you can hover your ...

well see how fast this would be done.one year is too long :?
You obviously haven`t been around long enough, otherwise you`d realize that a year is relatively fast for AniDB :P

While I understand your idea, I think it might be a bit too eventful for a 'simple vote'. Perhaps a more simple variant of this would be to pop up a total list of titles, where you can click between which two titles it should be placed, instead of letting you go through all of these titles to reach ...

As long as we are talking about crazy ideas, how about not having users giving distinct votes at all. The user will indicate a general preference, (Hate it, dislike it, ok, like it, love it (or whatever)). Then system asks them if they liked it more or less than other things they watched in the sam...

I guess... Honestly though I was not really considering it having such a large impact on other parts, rather my thought was that it would only affect the labels in the dropdown itself and only for that user. Hence if the user has no votes, 5 is the labeled "average". If the user has voted...

@PetriW - Kind of what vivafruits started here How about instead of subjective terms like "recommended" you just say the voting distribution you'd like to see? and where I suggested this ? If you want to use percentages, I think it`s better to base those on your own voting list instead, s...

You are NOT , I repeat: NOT the one who decides what should be the sole definition of anime, or what kind of genres should be applied. No to mention that you try to redefine the policy of AniDB to whatever you want it to be. We have a community, we have mods, so you can probably understand that we h...

There`s another plant-rape in Angel of Darkness, iirc, but that doesn`t involve a cave or anything. It takes place in a school, although it also boils down to revenge for something.

@Amour Is that title trying to make fun of Nadia - Secret of Blue Water, or what? :P

yes, i had to be forceful here, i believe. it's just not enough people who cares, or at least; they don't appear before they miss something. which is also the reason why most feedback is negative and conservatism is a step ahead. it somehow reminds me of 'The Little Red Hen'. I don`t really get you...

You claim people weren`t happy with it, but used to it. my point was conservatism. Well, I can live with that explanation :) I agree it`s not good to be too conservative, but I also don`t agree of applying changes without interaction with others about it. Of course, some open interaction can only b...

Assuming you`re talking to me, let me respond :) no, users weren't happy with it, they were used to it. important difference. You claim people weren`t happy with it, but used to it. Perhaps that`s true, I can`t say for sure, but I honestly haven`t seen many people complaining about them. Perhaps the...
