I don`t disagree with 1-10 having only labeled the ends. But how much different was that from the old way of voting? It had some extra labels and new people were happy with them since it was a decent help to see how they could vote. Experienced users stuck to their own set of vote-ranges and ignored...

Translations is perhaps not the best word to use. It includes the whole scope: does it make sense, are there any grammatical or type errors, etc. I suppose you`re talking about group-votes per series ? Since it`s fairly impossible to give one vote to a broad range of fansubgroups doing a particular...

I think that words need to give people guidelines on what their votes mean. If you take a professional survey, they usually at least tell you what the end points mean, sometimes they also give guidelines on the in between points. Having particular meanings for particular votes though is more approp...

if we really want to remember we should just add a private comment field to votes. i want that myself. If we`re heading that way, implement the history of votes too then, perhaps even limited to i.e. 3 votes ( 1-original, 2-previous vote, 3-current vote ), since one sometimes wants to adjust one`s ...

I also didn`t think the +signs were better. I understand that they were simply a sort of placeholder, but really, then just use the number itself. And while one may debate whether or not the descriptions were correct, we did have an actual debate about that where several people on the forums came up...

Re: latest reviews
Is it just me or does hardly anyone rate reviews anymore? For the three reviews I wrote within the last two months, I only received one vote. As opposed to reviews I wrote a year or longer ago which received several ratings each within a short time period. This is just an assumption, but some time ...

well, the number of notifications shown in the nav bar is a cached value for performance reasons and is currently only updated when new notifications are generated or when you click on that link. updating it when you remove part of the entries in the notification history would be somewhat complicat...

So ... let me summarize. You have notifications 'on', which gives you the 'H' button below your profile. I usually click that 'H', which brings me to the History of the notifications, but does not clear the warning. The warning only disappears once you click on it. I don`t mind. I like to have a sho...

I think that a lot of people are ‘scared’ of that ‘500 character limit’. But, as Merlin already said, 500 characters is at most 10 lines of text. Now, perhaps it`s just me, but I think that, if you can summarize why an anime is so extremely good or bad, or even average in less than 10 sentences, you...

Then tell me who watch a 24+ episodes show 'til the end when he doesn't like it? Uh, you called? So far I`ve seen a lot of crappy anime and I`ve seen a lot of great anime starting off crappy ( Infinite Ryvius being the best example ) but ending up great. Look, I don`t have anything against people w...

As far as the private comments goes. Maybe instead of using the private option, and instead of reference hyperlinks to jump ahead to that specific comment. The userid can be passed in the url, and will display that user's comment at the top of the anime comment page ... so that the reader (if they ...
