Re: How to search for partial anime titles?

Is there a way to search more effective I'm not aware of? exp confirmed that this* is a bug (don't ask me in which thread, though ^^;) *) Not the "trailing space" issue, but rather the fact that spaces between search terms are supposed to be replaced by wildcards, so while "heart rem...

Got the wrong impression there - sorry, BitFaze ^^;

I sent a lenghty message to the one who added these files - if he doesn't reply within the next week, I'll remove the files. (There's still a slight chance that these are wide-spread corruptions...)

If not you're losing some valuable data. who is? maybe the one who wants to add it to his/her mylist, but all the others gain trash... since when is a corrupt file valuable data? That's not the point, really ^^; When DonGato mentioned the "corrupt flag", he referred to the personal mylist...

Something like this would be a good addition to Mylist Report -> "Episodes with Multiple Files in Mylist" - basically the same, just grouped by anime.

By the way, some people say they're having trouble with my version of the plugin, can anyone verify this? What kind of trouble? I didn't submit it to mozdev. Please do. The (FF-style) quick-search surely works better when using the regular search instead of the advanced one. I'd love to see the opt...

About special cut or extended versions (dvd- vs tv-versions)

One of the reasons why I post this is that I'm no longer sure that using specials in case of [Do Something] ZX Shinseiki Evangelion Director's Cut EP 21f is the "best" workaround as we currently have three different options to create a workaround for "mutliple versions of the same epi...

Without using "-target 1.4" with javac, it won't run on much else anyway ^^;

Any chance to get it compiled for 1.4, or do you rely on some 1.5-features?

Re: split votes (anime/eps) according to gender set in profi

whats next splitting votes of people who like naruto and those who not? You had me there for a second ^^; It's probably useful to apply some filter to reduce the influence of people's genre-related bias - but seperating votes in advance by some outside factors (be it gender, age or IQ) is nothing b...

You can see his list, actually. It's just empty. The username isn't worth much really, so unless you have a concrete idea where to use it in an attack, I don't see a problem in showing it. Btw - that's no bug. Every user who wants to can decide to completely hide his list and stats in the profile . ...

After a (suprisingly far from "heated" ^^) discussion on IRC, we came up with a compromise that uses both alternatives, depending on which has the most benefits: If a group releases all eps in multi-ep-files (e.g. Future Boy Conan ), these files should be added to specials If a group relea...

Oh yeah, I'd also like to point out that we've essentially been doing alternative 2 with 1.5 years of placeholder files, why change it now that we have generic files? Almost all alternative 1 are from September 2004 or later [...] Your own list proves that both methods are equally present in the DB...

Multi-episode files [outdated]

Let's assume we have an anime with x episodes. How should a file be added that includes 2, 3, 4, ... eps in it be added? EDIT: If you're reading this, you may want to skip directly to the suggested compromise below ;) There are basically two methods: Add the file to a special episode (e.g. "Epi...
