voting high cause of video quality...that happens because when the video quality goes up, you can see the animation more clearly...and that movie definitely has some good animation and deserves some brownie points for that ehm, normally people watch the TV version only... so they vote according to ...

Is AniDB reliable... for Christ's sake not... you have hundred of CREQs a week because of that.

Why do you use ANN links if their info is unreliable?

Why do you use ANN links if their info is unreliable? I sent in a CREQ for Damekko Doubutsu http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=2824 because on AnimeNewsNetwork it said it would be 26 episodes so that's the change in the CREQ. (ANN Link = http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclop...

Just a little bump. not much, on what planet does Beyond the Clouds deserve 10 no votes? I've got a simple solution, track down the people who do correction votes in the top 10, and prevent them from voting in the future, while nerfing the votes they've already done. :D people just voted that high ...

Welll.. I still maintain that if you indeed have >10% 10s, your voting habits aren't suitable for use in statistical analysis without some form of normalization, or you haven't seen enough to judge the titles in meaningful way. Really, I don't even expect bell curves here. Just that you won't give ...

We definitely do need to take into account the vote distribution. Otherwise lists like OnegaiNL's old list (a hundred and something of 10s only) would qualify while it definitely should not. That kind of vote distribution is absurd and not meaningful to the least. Also, that filter wouldn't even af...

@OnegaiNL If you've read the vote descriptions, you should understand what a 10 is. 20% @10 is just too much. My problem with tens is that I'm not sure which of the 7 ghiblies to drop to 9. They're quite different, so it's hard to pin them against eachother.. Another thing is that rating movies and...

[*]User must have no more than 10% '10' votes Users like this would pass the first two rules. and btw i would pass all 4 rules, changed alot lol Nope. Rule 3 not passed, you have 17 votes of 10, more than 10% of 157 total votes. You will be filtered if those rules will be applied. hmm maybe your ri...

I guess I will post my opinion [again]... Votes should from "legitimate users" should not be normalized, given enough user that vote, things will work themselves out. Votes from dummy users created just to vote should be filtered out. IF votes are filtered and/or normalized then on the an...

[BUG] Latest Anime bug! [FIXED]

If you use latest anime, if you look @ 1/2005 and you press previous it ends up at 1/2004 ... shouldnt it be 12/2004? :P

but if you look at 12/2004 and press next, it's on 1/2005 lol so it's kinda wrong i think XD
