Yeah, I agree...mine is only 150mb but still, a huge waste of space if it is only used as a logfile.

I shouldn't use IE for filling out forms anyway, as Firefox et al. don't clear forms when you go ack and forth while IE does.

I've just finished adding 82 files to anidb, 81 of which needed episode number setting. Only one file had a episode number suggestion, it had G-6 in the episode name resulting in the mass add suggesting 6 as the episode number. I just added a set of files to anidb for a new group. When I added the first 26 files the group was not in the pull-down (obviously). So I entered a searchstring, only to get a pulldown with 2 empty one-character lines. Trying searchstrings for groups that I know exist in the db resulted in the same.

As an afterthought, subs also enable people with hearing problems to enjoy what's going on.
As subs have to be short and concise they will have different wording than the original script.

Files with incorrect CRC's are in the db if they are widespread through the community. AniDB doesn't really acquire items (to my knowledge) but members add new files,episodes,animes, etc.

It really surprises me how much people want the ratings to be 'correct', to me the ratings don't mean very much. Other than animes scoring <6 being possibly mediocre or worse, I don't really care if an anime scores a 6.3, 7, or 8. If you want you can look at the bar-graph and draw your own conclusio...
