I (whose japanese still needs some polishing) would like to have to option to use the english titles. Do we have a tag for this? Or could we?

0.5.1.219: sort order in anime browser [FIXED]

Sorting the lists in the anime browser (animes, groups, genres, search) does not work properly. This goes for the following columns. Animes: size, length, watched, year, rating, reviews Groups: animes, size, length, rating, reviews Genres: name, animes, size Search results: size, length, year, ratin...

[AOM 0.5.0.217] Columns in advanced search [FIXED?]

The columns in the advanced search results seem to show false content: Title -- ok Type -- ok EPs -- ok Year -- shows sum of filesize of all eps and groups (which imho is of no significance) Homepage -- shows duration Rating -- shows something like "All" or "None", maybe mylist-related? Revews -- sh...

[REQ] Play files from mylist

It would be some nice feature to make AOM play files in the media player not only from the list of known files, but also from the mylist. So you don't have to keep in mind where your files are.

Bug? Special characters issue [NOBUG]

version 0.4.6.194 Titles including special characters leave certain files unusable to emule. Here are some examples: 29.03.2004 17:23:14: Failed to open d:\incoming\anime\Manie-Manie : Meikyu Monogatari - 1 - Movie + external subs [].avi () - No such file or directory 29.03.2004 17:23:14: Failed to...

The renaming problem with weiss kreuz was indeed gone with one of the recent releases. 8)

Another solution may be perhaps to remove non-ascii characters from the anidb filenames. Just a thought.

I got the same problem with the release 168 and "Weiss Kreuz Glühen". AOM placed some character in the file name that made it illegible to the mule and prevents further sharing. The log says Renamed Weiss Kreuz Gluhen - 01 - White Flames [XF].avi to l:\anime\weiss kreuz gluhen\Weiss Kreuz Gl? - 01 -...

That's a great one! Also it would be great to be able to play files (or even series, gererate playlists...?) from the mylist. This would be some nice media management too.

[AOM] reports internal server error [NOBUG]

Hi everyone,

I get this message in the log during the last few days:
AniDB reported internal server error, command queue halted.
The client hashes new files and stores them locally, but it will not upload to anidb.
