Well I don't use aniDB for maintaining my collection, I just use it for browsing. For example to see what groups did the series, in what language, and to compare their file size, quality, resolution, source etc. which, until now, I could do on a single page. Now I have to open multiple pages, one p...

I can be Korean verifier. :) I am native speaker. By the way, grant both. They are Korean-made anime/manhwa, therefore, Legit. Join #anidb and talk there, i suppose it's the best way to do this. Though other mods may have different approaches, but joining #anidb should be a good one. Rizon? irc.zir...

You don't have to be mod. You just have to look at the staff page to see that :P

Could be Soukou no Strain , i seem to remember this being mecha in the future and has something to do with brains, and they are also from an academy. Although it's not japan vs US. This aired last year at most, finished this year. Could be Soukyuu no Fafner - Right of Left or Gunparade Orchestra . ...

tyciol wrote:Here I thought he meant the NA-produced show... :p I wonder if it's listed on this site. It's really very good, doesn't need subbing though unless for non-english.

Maybe someone can dub japanese over it and then sub english? lol

At risk of being pedantic (something I am constantly accused of), there is a public TCP API. Of course, you probably would not call it that, but... Do not forget that all information exposed through AOM is also available through the webserver, and that parsing HTML is definitely a viable alternativ...

the identifier for files on anidb is the size of the file + the ed2k hash. so when you want to see if a file is in the db you will trow at it ed2k://|file|somefile.ext|123456|1a123132d1a56s4d6a7d8a64d56a464d56a4|. So basicaly if you wan't to do something with anidb you allways have to have the ed2k ...

pseprodux wrote:also, opera really chokes up and eats cpu during the highlighting (when you mouse over) of the list of files when you expand an episode, but that might be something to do with opera's rendering itself.
It's a known issue of opera, it will also apply to IE 6.

suppy wrote:@Gambit: I'd also point out that if you're on a small screen and the filename is long, you may not be able to see the CRC part when hovering over the link. And it's also more intuitive to find the CRC when you hover over that image.
also title tooltips often get cut after some size

As every page we're generating at the moment has an unclosed <head> chasing him away again might not be such a bad thing. Bad fahry! On the css front, there are at least three different issues here, adblock can cause one, the long-standing initial-render firefox bug can cause another, and sometimes...

... which is basically the same, except that you hover you mouse over an ed2k-link instead of an ed2k-entry in AniDB. Therefore I don`t really see the value of implementing this, really ... I mean, you can see whether it is crc verified or not based on the color of the entry, and you can hover your...
