There is a difference between spoken and written language. That is major reason differences occur I think. Besides, a lot of the subs are not very nice for those hard of hearing, only those that color code subs for each main character and have a last one for background ones would really be nice. Nor...

I personally use amount of votes as an indicator of how popular a series is, regardless if it is good or not (the score helps a little on that account). Since I think that way I also vote on everything. I also vote to keep track of what I have watched myself, works better than the mylist feature onc...

I just decided to re-encode a dvd to a format that takes up less space on my HDD, I cut out the English sound tracks on all files. Just to give you a feeling for how much I value it. I also heard a Swedish sub on TV today and decided to re-watch the series in Japanese just to purge my system. So I g...

If you read the genre definitions you will see that they define yuri as sexual relations between females and shoujo ai as romantic feelings between them. Both are often true of a single series, but classifying hentai ones as yuri and non hentai ones as shoujo ai would most likely work just fine...

Re: Worst ending ever

just to let you know, there are people (like me) who think monster's ending is the best suitable ending for the series. as for the REALLY bad ending, i'd have to say evangellion , and if you're asking about absolutely worst - maybe kare kano ? Ya, Kare Kano was just cut in the middle, halfway throu...

but I think Mahoromatic was the worst. It left me looking like a big :?: , and that REALLY pissed me off  There are several animes the end as cliffhangers, wich actually is ok, because they continue as manga´s or sequels, but Mahoromatic was like a kick in the crotch. Mahormatic 1 or 2? Just ...

Euerka 7, but it wasn't that great to start with... :/ Juuni Kokuki is another one, ending there? Shen Diao Xia Lu II: Xie Dan Qi Jing also had a nasty ending, the torrent I uploaded for it excluded the last episode, it ought to be included in the next season. Tenjou Tenge never really finished, wel...

watch lolikon angel and you have soemthing for your 1 vote :P I would have to disagree with this. I thought Bible black was slightly worse, with lupin III being much worse than this, but still a 4. So this is a 5 in my book. Even if they hadn't used cuts from one thing to the next as much I would s...

Well if you want people to consider where to put in each one compared to others, why not then have a list of each anime voted on before where you have to put it in between two to vote? I would no longer vote if that were the case (to many series I can't recall well), but it would be clear where each...

I noticed this today as well. Was nice to at least have categories on series that had yet to attain genres. Well that and it was fun trying to spot something somebody forgot to add when watching a series for the first time that wasn't really that interesting. Hmm ooh well, next time I have an accoun...
