[WebAOM 1.19h] - Automatically start monitoring?

I'm just playing around with WebAOM at the moment as a potential replacement for AOM and it seems to me as though to get anything to happen you have to manually login and press Start. Is this the case? I just want to confirm this as I currently have AOM set to startup with my system and leave it run...

Curiously this seems to be working now. I haven't made any changes on my end, has anything changed on the site that might affect this in the last week or so? EDIT: Ok this is weird. I originally noticed that this had worked with a file that I added on the 9th of August, however a file that I just ad...

Cool, as long as there's a reasonable explanation and it wasn't just me going crazy :P

Yep, there's definitely a different title in the mylist pane and yes, a full redownload of the dumps from anidb. This has been happening for a couple of months now, but originally I just thought that I was hashing the files before anidb had been updated with the correct episode names. Let me know if...

[AOM 0.5.9.249] File rename not using episode name

I have the AOM filemanager setup to check a network drive every 15 minutes for new files, and then hash and rename any valid files that it finds. This works fine aside from renaming with the correct episode name. Instead of using the episode name as given on AniDB it just uses "Episode 15"...

Thanks! Clearly very limited in comparison to AniDB, but I'll definitely give them a go.

TV Show DB?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a site similar in function and purpose to AniDB that is specific to TV shows. I download most of my TV now and it would be great to have something as useful as AniDB for more generic TV shows.

If you've come across something like this, please let me know.

There are some others which seem to do this which I haven't played with yet, but even if they cover what I'm after at this point I've got some other ideas floating around in my head that will almost certainly require some customisation. It's quite likely that whatever I end up with will be based on ...

Thanks for the reply and encouragement PetriW. I had a feeling that AOM had this type of functionality, and I did notice the thread on the linux version, however what I'm proposing is something far less complex :) For one thing, it's intended for a minimal linux server environment, meaning no GUI or...

"Directory Watch" script

This is just a quick post to hopefully get some suggestions and gauge the interest in a linux script I'm thinking of writing for AniDB. I've just recently finished rebuilding my home file server so that it now has enough space for me to keep all of my anime (among other things) on the server itself,...
