AniDB

Paprika is the only anime I've ever heard about having a DVD-screener. IMO this distinction is not needed, when it is only usable for one (or maybe a handful) anime.

The first one is probably an encode from the DVD-screener and the second one from the actual commercial DVD. The quality of the DVD-screener was really bad... It seems they changed some things for the commercial DVD release.

however for testing purposes we'd still need some large example exports. I saw on their forum that they have an AniDB MyList import feature: http://myanimelist.net/import.php Maybe you could import some AniDB lists there and then export them again. I kinda wonder how it is possible that the AR forums are nearly inaccessible, while AniDB seem to be relatively OK (not really fast either though). :? Also, it seems AR forum only became nearly inaccessible in the last 1-2 weeks. Is AniDB expanding at such an incredible rate since the last few weeks...

If you only accept change requests based on the original Japanese source, I'm guessing people will enter a lot less change requests. I and many others don't know any Japanese so we mostly can't enter a change request based on the official site. But most AniDB mods think ANN is a reliable enough sour...

Yeah, that's a really nice idea.
I would like that feature implemented if the request to set the display for each file individually is rejected.

In an effort to get things back on topic.... ;) an anime is something that was produced in or by(co-projects with another country allowed) Asia/Asians OR if the original dub was asian... if an entry fails in both those criterias, it won't be considered anime.. I don't think anime should be linked to...

Shouldn't the arrow point from the inside to the outside (like Elberet suggested). It's usually ripped from a DVD and not to a DVD.
Other than that the icons look very nice imho.
