thanks guys. I've NEVER touched the settings on the divx and xvid codecs before now(nor did I have to). Disabling the post processing option helped alot. Although the skipping stille exists, its in an 'acceptable' drawback now.

Yeah, the title says it. I'm usin windows media player 9 and all the anime i've tried to play on it is is not keeping up with the sound and it's skipping. Is it because of my old 550Mhz AMD K6? I'm using an old refurbished computer. I'm assuming it's a hardware problem 'cuz i'm using all the current...
