I didn't want a list of comments, in the other hand I wanted a MyList/MyVotes with a possibility to see the comments the user posted in case he wants to share them. Removal of it from the anime page ... a link to the comments is placed on the graphed rating page (only people with the appropriate pe...

I do think that comments should be related to your MyList or MyVotes, not to the anime page and not shown to everyone. At least I don't want that. So: - Not even related/near reviews. - Not put in a main place. - Use the current permissions system. - Relate it to MyVotes or MyList (you can have ani...

I think that it would be a waste to let this go until we get to an agreement. Perhaps for those we should rather encourage those to make a creq for description while people can still give personal opinions in the 'comments' section. interesting@creq for description. In the end we're all in agreeeme...

Actually, I don`t think there are much people who`d want to go through such reviews/comments and 'demote' them. So it`s up to the user where he puts it and especially with reviews, I don`t think anyone else but the initial poster should demote anything. It would only cause friction, because the pos...

Please either shut up and code or shut up and don't code. Reading your posts has become the low point of my day. We don't need any ideas for the format. We have an xml zealot on the team already, and a far less annoying one. How can one code without knowing the structure of the data being received?...

And what does atom and rss have to do with the sig server? The xml server has to just display the current information for the user, not the kind of info you need a feed for. To me it also seems that this topic is asking for which data to make available and what other options to give to the sig serv...

I'm debating if I want the feed in RSS or Atom. While Atom is future-proof RSS is more widely adopted. hminuruminarumina jdlkajsdklja sd ehhh fuck it ... gimme the feed in RSS 2.0 and I'll do it this weekend after I'm done with my client, or next weekend if yall are busy and can't deal with the feed...

K ... I need a bit of clarification. What's the purpose of the database on the sig server? Is the database for the user's image settings? The way we handled audioscrobbler's original sig was all the settings and parameters were passed via the url. So there was no need for the storage of said setting...

From the discussion so far, I think it is pretty clear that the requirements for a review are on an entirely different level. In fact, in most cases reviews and comments are probably written by different user groups. Most people who write comments will never write a review. One of the benefits of s...

I think you should wait with spending thought on this until the new animepage arrives cause it'll be kinda different then. There's no ETA but since it's not me working on it anymore it might arrive this year at least. Cool. I noticed afterwards as I was checking the feature requests, and modificati...

Doesn't really have to be PHP, I'm sure. Perl, Python or whatever you like can almost certainly be arranged as exp got lots of hosting offers. If it is in PHP it can be done using GD ... though depending on the host GD might not be setup by default. So I'd advise checking for it, and if it isn't pr...

maybe there should be a warning for that, lol. You could add a message to the avatar section of the php script or something ... so others'll know. That bit should be easy to find in the code.
