As you could plot each anime's approximate position in 'genrespace' and thus assign them to a closest category. That wouldn't be exact, but them the votes aren't exact either. Of course votes are not exact. ...

The issue here is related to the fact that it's an all-in-one top ten. There will allways be people who will not like certain genders. The problem is, many of these people have trouble understanding that "i dont like this anime" does not necesarily means "this anime suxx".

Suzuka is a good (according to some) school/romance. I enjoyed it. Also you can watch Onegai Twins/Onegai Teacher. But as someone above said, Azumanga Daioh is ZE one.

It's really a matter of preferences, really. Both types of animations have their charm, and i bet everybody enjoyed some Disney Classics in their youth. The problem is with this new "americanised" anime graphics. They really don't appeal to me. But that is about taste, yet again. As anime ...

I agree with kouta, Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu it's a MUST see. Great drama/romance, though not such a realistic setting. And it is preety short, you can't say you wasted time with it even if you don't like it.

Check this. Though i dont agree with many of the jury awards, they are all great shows. From all genders, for all kinds of anime watchers.
