Houkago Renai Club - synonym of another anime

http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=2565 has a japanese title of 放課後恋愛クラブ it is transcribed as "Houkago Renai Club", and has a main title of Koikura. Somebody already added that name as a synonym for http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=1302 (I don't ...

[BUG] Strange search result

I was searching for "kissdum" and was given this page http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4391 the problem is, it's Super Mario Brothers: Peach-hime Kyuushutsu Dai Sakusen - nothing that even remotedly resembles "kissdum". Why was that page given? My first gu...

When why did that info disappear, instead of being transformed into the new form?
Is list of producers not considered useful?
Or it wasn't converted, and that row's preservation serves a purpose - to enter the info manually(and not erase it)?

Thanks for clarifying. Does that happen automatically with any edit? I think it's not right to just destroy that information, some of it is very old and rare, and not easily recoverable. Maybe you can add some notification to the mod to convert the old format data, and not just purge it into oblivio...

[bug]producers disappeared

After I've made a creq to change anime description and it was approved, the producers field somehow became clear. Might be a mistake by the mod, but it can also be a bug connected to the new year system of AniDB, because that field has also been marked as changed. http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb....

Bug - no way to add categories

Now there's no way to add a category for an anime - only to "request removal"... Also, Categories |"show tags" - clicking on "show" and "tags" pops up two different pages(absolutely not obvious), the purpose of the latter one("Tag added action") is u...

"Added by" and "Edited by" - no need to show this to ordinary users. If "no relations" maybe it's better to leave it blank. "type" - no need for info of a date added. Definitely needs to display different icons for .mkv, .avi and other types, although a simple...

Not exactly sure where to add it, but something along the lines of gender-bender , transgender , traps or cross-dressing are common enough to be considered a category or even a genre of its own: Ranma 1/2, Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru, Princess Princess, I my me strawberry eggs, Chevalier, Cinderella...

Rar, please re-read the above posts...
In this case "related file" cannot be used because the file is unavailable - the subtitles were released that way.
And the problem is with distinguishing various versions of the subs - no comments for them, no "length" for them.

What I'm talking about is not the subtitle length, but rather the length of designated raw And "definite length" as a substitute for that unknown "related file" in cases the one adding the sub doesn't have the raw itself. How are these more difficult to retime? I mean the line le...

For simple subs it can be so, it can take about 30 seconds. But, why should dozens of people do it for dozens of episodes( remembering wrongly timed Ranma1/2 ) if they can just use something that was already timed? Also, there are subs with karaoke and signs, and that is a notch or two higher in dif...

Der Idiot , the group in question releases subtitles not related to any specific files. It just "fits any raw of 23.40 length". I re-time it and can add filerelation to a 24:00 raw I have, but I also want to add the original one, and make it clear that it is timed for 23:40 (I don't have ...

Subtitles and length

In cases where subtitles are not designed for a particular raw, but rather for any raw of a certain length, where should I mention it? for episodes 5,6 and later of http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4144 there are two kinds of raws(not all of them are mentioned in the AniDB da...

Since almost nothing deserves 1 or 10, it is a very safe bet to cut them altogether. If it is really good or really bad, and not just boosted by fans/haters, even without those votes it would be placed high/low enough. Just take a look at the aforementioned Ergo Proxy groups: Ani-Kraze: 7.96, 53 vot...
