Considering the fact that nothing has happened in this thread since january, I suggest we take a slightly different approach. The way I see it categories are simply too big to properly grasp at once. Making clear lines as to what to focus on would probably be a better idea. So I suggest we (somehow)...

We don't allow any links to homepages offering .torrent downloads at the first page.

Don't really know about winry's wolf... Yeah I know it'll be a lot of data. The question is whether it will be bloatish (make anidb much much larger AND decreasing general performance) or actually implementable without much loss in speed and such... any addition to anidb is major work, just look at ...

I wouldn't care a bit for a 'current members' list.
It's easy to give titles.. Just look at the file (and ONLY that), note the credits and add to anidb.
Noone would care about who's active and who's not.

This is just a little thought... How about adding some extra to the groupinfo pages and then to the aid's? What I'm thinking about is being able to add members to fansubgroups and apply titles as well by adding those to the groupinfo tab in the aid (or something alike) something like a 'member info'...

A good system exp, IMO. Should we use that we'll need to think up and discuss a list of what should be entries for the different genres... but wouldnt that take quite some time? I mean when we're at the sub sub genre level there's possbly more than a couple of hundred different things that could be ...

ANN only has seiyuu information about characters and only for limited series.
