Logs do come in useful when troubleshooting and sometimes having a record of the last few executions helps in tracking down problems. Thats why I suggested some kind of size limit or an expiration on log dates. NTFS compression can be useful on archiving and backup drives, but I prefer not to use it...

dblog.txt needs a size Limit (5mb would be nice)

I didn't find any threads addressing this issue so I decided to bring it up here. I just noticed an extremely fragmented 750MB dblog.txt file when doing some spring cleaning.

Would it be possible to limit this file size or disable logging when you don't need it?

Problem with combined episode releases

Is it possible to get a combined episode release i.e. O2 (episodes 3-4) to register as completed for a 4 episode OVA. Instead of showing up as stalled?

I tried a 'repair' installation but winxp is so screwed up that even that didn't fix it. I'm overdue for a format & reinstall anyways so that's what I did. AOM works fine now and my registry is 10mb smaller :P Thanks everyone who tried to help me out -H.D.

I tried disabling all virus scanners and firewalls, as well as disabling and removing all Spybot protection. That is all the 3rd party network monitoring and protection software I run. I also reinstalled WinXP SP2 and reset all network and IE6 settings to default with no change in the log error. Any...

Normally I use Firefox which works just fine with anidb.nfo. I tried logging in with IE and it works as well, but the log file hasn't changed.

Yes I noticed that too. I have a fast machine, but not that fast. I think the 0ms load times indicate that nothing is being loaded at all. Hopefully that will help in finding the problem.

I used AOM to calculate the ed2k values and manually checked them against the ones in aniDB, so I know the files aren't corrupt. I am also able to use ed2k dump and WebAOM to add known episodes, but many of the series' I have are unknown because nobody has added the version I have yet. Using AOM wou...

I tried both restarting AOM and clearing the kowai folder, but neither made a difference. The files are still showing up as unknown. On a positive note, I was able to copy the ed2k links in AOM and successfully added them to my list with ed2kDump. This is a big improvement over the manual adding pro...

Adding existing files with different names

I would first like to note that I thought this issue might have been addressed before, but I must not be wording my searches right cause I couldn't find any posts on it. I will rely on the veterans of this board to direct me to any solutions that already exist. Here is some background info, I starte...
