I might have this wrong...but I dont believe AniDB wants to have any kind of large gain in users...because that attracts more attention..and you know where that goes. :arrow:

quick and easy reference for newbies? Does anyone really want that? Its too much of a hassle for the admins to be putting out new info just so some newbies have a faster track to leechdom... reliability? Well, each group is different and I would say that there is NO group out there that is reliable ...

ok #1. There is NEVER a guarantee of when an episode is released, and even if it is a speedsubber, most people already have an idea of the approximate time it will be released, say a few days. Then people already know and there is no need for release dates that will most likely be inaccurate anyways...

voting high cause of video quality...that happens because when the video quality goes up, you can see the animation more clearly...and that movie definitely has some good animation and deserves some brownie points for that ehm, normally people watch the TV version only... so they vote according to ...

hmm, this poll poses a problem. I own dvds and I get my supplies from P2P too... catch is that I dont necessarily buy my DVDs :P pretty much my local anime store lends me their first copy dvds to watch, and when they've sold a few they just go ahead and let me keep it for free, so money is going bac...

this would be a nice feature, and also in accordance with the adv search, if I try to do it by clicking each genre except for hentai, I return no results, I think its because it is trying to find an anime with all genres in it except for hentai and not just animes that arent hentai....
