MyPlace content (reviews) doesn't update [trackered]

The "MyPlace" views claims to list the "latest reviews" I've been submitting. But it lists reviews only from 18.06.2005 and earlier. All the reviews I've been submitting since then (10 more reviews which the "MyReviews" page correctly lists on top when sorting all revie...

Auto creqs should be granted after about 24 hours... If the delay is a problem Thanks for the explanation. And no, the delay isn't really a problem now that I know the expected time range. I did the manual revoke already, but waiting 24 hours is fine. I was just wondering why the granting is done p...

Re: Granting of Change Requests for "own" files

once more you talk about things you don't understand. You may be right. But I can see those change requests listed in my "DB Change Requests" list for a while, and one or two days later they're confirmed. I can revoke them manually during this period, and that's what I have to do if I wan...

Granting of Change Requests for "own" files

I added some files to aniDB, by basically adding their ed2k hash plus some video attributes. In the meantime I have some of these files on my harddisk, and AoM generated change requests for some more attributes, such as the different file hashes. AoM does a login into aniDB using my user name and my...

[MOVE][FILE] 22090 (Jin-Roh) to "Complete Movie"

As you can see in the files attributes of file 22090, the playing time of 1:41h shows that this is the complete movie, not just "Part 1 of 2".
I have the file, and I can confirm all data of the entry, except for this assignment.

Does it make a lot of sense to have subtitles in aniDB that don't refer to any specific video file? I added some of my own subtitles some time ago, referring to the (already existing) raw files via the subtitle files' comment, but I wonder whether the data model of the subtitle should contain a refe...

Having been one of those change requestors, I admit that Evangelion titles are a tricky thing, as some of the official English translations are nonsense given the content of the series ("Neon", for example, and the English title of episode 9) or even untranslatable (such as episode 26, whi...

[EDIT][GENRE]Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu: -Ecchi, +School

I request to remove "Ecchi" from the genres list and replace it by "School", thus making the genres setting identical to Saishuu Heiki Kanojo. Compared to Saikano, Iriya contains fewer and much less offensive scenes IMHO - just a handful of mild fanservice, the most intense one b...

the difference between my sugestion and yours is, that mine can't be detected by aom and yours can for most filetypes.... This seems to be true only for the SHA hash (I have switched to AOM only recently). AOM can't detect many other values so far, like the video attributes of non-AVI containers, w...

As for HTTP load, the tcp api which aom uses is severely limited. Please accept my apology for not reading the specification of the TCP API specification. It was not my intention to critizise your fine client unfairly, I just tried to point out where the observed behaviour (such as reporting a conn...

It's really beside the point, the whole thing should be handled by autocreqs. I just didn't know Exp was away (when I released the stuff!). Wasn't AOM considered to be helpful for aniDB as a whole? As long as it creates a number of CREQs beyond the ability of the maintenance people handling them, t...

And Elberet, it's an api limitation. Nothing aom can do about it really, except flood the db with changes and I'm not sure that'd be better. The real problem is that each command is a separate transaction. But isn't that a design problem of the AOM client? Look, if I use the HTML interface to the m...

I mean, if you want to provide the file hash as a component of the data structure (as to match ed2kdump'ed files) you wouldn't need an icon that allows you to start the corresponding download in eMule with one click. If you claim to not support downloading you might as well eliminate the icon comple...

I wonder whether the current data model allows for a workaround: - create a "virtual sub group" for this project, listing the groups participating in the complete project and the borders of their responsibility (we already have the data structure for joint contributions), and - assign all ...
