AOM 0.5.9.249 will rehash files every time...
If you replace a file with another file that has the exact same name (but different size and content in these cases) AOM would rehash the files every time it starts, and would not replace the data... The new files are generic modified files that are not found on anidb. The old files were on anidb......

avdump 0.30 ignores delay, warns of mismatch in track length
I noticed that avdump constantly warns on my files (mkv, where there is no junk padding but metadata delay) that the audio tracks are shorter by 0.X seconds then the video track. I am guessing this means it ignores the delay info in the mkv, is that correct? just thought I might point that out as a ...

no need to apologize for rudeness... I fully understand why you are upset, and also, you shouldn't apologize if you don't mean it. You mean to be rude because you are angry at me, I understand. I knew I would be stepping on people's toes and upsetting many, but I considered the benefits that many ot...

I applaud your dedicated to the intellectual property rights of fansubbing groups. However, had I cared about the right to intellectual property I would not have shared anything, referring people to buy the things so that the original author is payed for their work!!! The poll is asking what kind of...

I disagree about the corrupt, its not corrupt (defective due to transfer errors), its a generic file. Or rather, an official release by ME (I just need a name :P, its not like I don't have any experience in the scene...). Corrupt files tend to have missing parts due to literally corrupt data. They s...

It is correct that multiple sources allow for better downloading. However as far as I can tell anime is mainly shared through Direct Connect, and to a lesser degree through Bit Torrent. With edonkey (emule actually) forming a the smallest of shares and other networks being insignificant. DC doesn't ...

actually... 10mbs down/0.7mbs up. But when I upload to 10 people at once at LEAST each one of them gets about 5-10KiBs. At which speed 15-50 MB mean several hours. Also when I download I normally get 5 KiB/s from most people, unless its from a website or quality FTP... but those are RARE for anime. ...

dvds costs like 20c and you can set the preference for the first to be played audiostream in haali and or any decent player like zoom or mpc to cut it short you suck for reencoding stuff where there never was a need for. ReMUXING not ReEncoding... completely different process... Remuxing is ...

Dual Audio or Original Audio only?
question, which would you prefer... a duel audio anime, or only the original audio without the dubs? (where its the same encoding, so we are talking about having a smaller file without the dub, not higher quality) I am actually wondering how many people prefer their anime dubless rather then duel au...

still my point is valid. Yes you can DEFINE character substitutions. That means you have to let it rename your files and then notice that it renames some files to weird abberations, figure out WHY, look up the original, and come up with a good substitution rule that would work for that file AND othe...
