I wonder if this also has to do with the domain name change, I got this every minute or so in the log since the change: [13/02/2005 14:50:52] - Connected to AniDB. it seems to happen again. I see the same error message: 05/02/2005 11:12:06] - Failed to update rmt:anime - 1110! The error message was: Access violation at address 0041B39D in module 'AOM.exe'. Read of address C8B0DCCC AoM is reloading the whole database at every restart and fails to update MyList.

Hi, I was wondering if it would spare the server some bandwidth if the (dump) files downloaded from the server could remain in the temp directory? I noticed that the file sizes of these files are always the same. An implementation can be like: get the file list and crc's, check the crc of the files ...

Hi, I changed the rename template and found that all files known to AoM are renamed. Which is good. However, AoM discovers that all these files are not known and adds them to the "Add Files" dialog even though the files listed in known files have the correct name. Stopping and starting AoM...

Well... the main rename issues have been solved but there is ONE left (that I know of)
GITS ep 14: "YES" using the characters for Yen, Euro and USD
The rename fails on one or more of these characters.
On a SMB share I see YENYEN
On local disk I see YENEURO

Hmmmm.... digging into MSHELP i found an article (Q147438) about filename conversions etc.. Seems NT uses unicode and tries to translate nonunicode names to nearest ascii and back again... Interesting... Maybe something??
