Making OGM and MKVs work for PSPs.

I'm trying to get MKVs and OGMs to work for my PSP. This is obviously for anime but the technology is the problem. I've been having some problems with Riverpast's crazy video for PSP (ok it's NEVER worked so don't suggest it unless you have advice. I'm using 1.7 of it. videos don't encode right, don...

I tried that under IE.

The site apparently hates me, I was banned for "leeching".

I just decided to give it up for tonight and rehash tommorow when I'm out for lunch.

I'm sorry but PetriW has released a bad version here, and I know he takes a lot of crap because he's not a professional programmer, and AOM is good and all but this is ridiculious, this version doesn't even work. If webAOM is better for hashing files, then push webAOM and go back to the last major r...

Maybe people are still reading this, don't want to toss a million topics here. It appears the AniDB is silent? I'm testing out this function, (it hits the server with an AUTH, then a LOGOUT if it's logged in, otherwise it just moves on to step two so it's only 2 simple lines.) It did something odd t...

Yes, a password check should work too.

It just seems like a bit of a security flaw as it is currently, I'll write a module to get around this, using my name and a false password (as meantioned kinglink/kinglink) to make sure it cleared out the old data.

Login Problems with AUTH commands.

OK here's a toughy and I can't figure it out. Now I've checked and rechecked my system this is what I pass the UDP: AUTH user=han&pass=solo&protover=2&client=kinglink&clientver=1 this is NOT my username not my password, and not anything. Now I can do user k, pass k, user l pass l, an...

Suggestion for API info pages.

Ok apparently http://www.anidb.net/wiki/index.php?title=UDP_API_DEV is for the future version or is it ready for trying it out? It might be better to clearify that on the top of the page. That stuff looks really interesting and probably quite useful. Just a heads up, I got a decent UDP Test system w...

Thank you both, it has put my mind at ease (Even tough the guy who shut down a web site with a single UDP Packet would be a great title) I figured that the UDP system itself isn't at risk, just the packets but I wasn't sure what might happen with it, as I haven't looked heavily at how the server its...

I've looked at the UDP connections myself for personal ideas I have, and have noticed that the Notify client if still needed, might be possible for me to write in C++, it might be helpful if there's a login that always has a notify available for download so I can use this for testing. In addition i ...

Question about current downtime/UDP

Do we know what caused this down time? here's my situation, and it'll sound stupid but let me go. I was developing an app (well testing the UDP because this is my first solo socket Program, and first UDP program) The day before the downtime I sent the messages, and thought I was not getting response...

I'm considering a variety of options for a little free programming I want to do as I want to stretch my talents a bit farther then they are now. I've done some client server stuff but never when I didn't have full access to both codebases. so I've been thinking about that and I was thinking about us...

I haven't seen the speed issues yet except when I'm running Azureus, so I can't say. but EXP and everyone else has proven their worth in my book. Anyone who can design something this robust is aces in my book.
