I'd be surprised if anyone actually prefers your "normal (i.e. historical) usage pattern". Killing the popup entirely and having the history page replace it would probably be beneficial for the normal anidb user.

If you share it it can and should be in anidb, but we'd really all prefer if you just didn't share it. You're not doing anyone a favour by doing so.

It's not like the anime will be processed at that resolution so it's not really higher "quality". It just requires a more "l33t" computer and monitor.

Filtering groups for the top ten by number of releases would be reasonable but I, for one, don't consider it important. Group ratings were never terribly meaningful anyway.
