Someone just accidentaly deleted the air of one of the movies I added (the episode) while trying to change the title. It would be nice if this were finaly fixed ;) Also, off topic, I saw the date change due to an automated [EDIT NOTICE] message. It occured to me that these messages are not that usef...

How about something like this http://perso.wanadoo.fr/pierre.g/xnview ... agengl.gif ?? That would satisfy both parties.

well, I see your point, however, consider a user who might be low on diskspace and always deletes each single ep right after watching it. Your feature request would make the group-notification option more or less useless for such a user. BYe! EXP You're right.. I knew that... that's why I said: Of ...

No group notification for files with deleted status [closed]

I think that files which are marked deleted shouldn't be considered for group notifications. I usually mark a file as deleted when I've seen it, deleted it and I'm no longer interested in it or other files from that group.... Of course, other people might have different criteria for marking a file d...

Re: ''Romaji, Hepburn''

This is so called "wa-puro ro-maji" and I completely agree with you that it would be good if this variation will be prefred one (or only one) on AniDB, with only exception for ha=wa, when used as particle. This method gives almost perfect mapping kana <-> romaji. Well, the ha -> wa when u...

I'm completely against this. korean and chinese animations are ANIME as well! even if your lexicas or whatever source you use say something different, it is and should stay. we don't have to and don't want to be as extreme as animenfo. whats the use to kick things like Oseam, Mari Iyagi, Wonderful ...

hashes... sigh I think it's a bother to add them to files, crc32 is enough for me and I can live through the hash fixers... but if I'd need to add 10 different hashes to anidb, that's overkill imo... or you could make a special little pop-up window that has all the hashes that one could add but onl...

Are you talking about files listed as "specials" for anime based on such games or about separate title for intro/outro? First should be allowed, IMHO, and second shouldn't. Brave Soul and Xenosaga were not listed as specials for another anime... they had their own entries in the database....

I think you may have jumped the gun with the removal of Transformers Generation 1. Do japanese people have to be involved in order for it to be considered an anime (there were... you said so yourself)? What about korean or chinese animation... do we delete those as well? What about US animation that...

analogued: magnet links don't mean SHA1 hashes, they can contain any hash that can more-or-less uniquely identify a file, be it SHA1, md5 or TTH. Yes, you're right about that... I forgot to mention it in my post. However, I think TTH has a different meaning and use in the case on the SHA1 Magnet-UR...

You could take a look at Bitcollider . Since it is released in the Public Domain there shouldn't be any issues with "stealing" the code for the magnet links. Note that TTH is a different thing (though it is related to the magnet links which use SHA1). The SHA1 in the magnet links is in BAS...

I, for one, don't really understand the problem yet - or maybe just the situation with Kakurenbo (can't view the entry ATM)... ^^; This isn't Kakurenbo-speciffic... that was just an example. If the trailer is/was available on the official site, that trailer's source is "web". Likewise if ...

Well, the way you previously phrased that didn't make it very clear what you were trying to say. Also, I don't think the current WWW category should be put together with the CD/DVD sources... Why? Because it's just so fundamentally different, from a distribution point of view (physical/non-ph...

You're making a BIIIG confusion right there... Digital != Lossless
