I'd like to see this too, maybe it'll be in the next version (hint hint).
All my lovely organised anime means nothing to me now it's in Japanese. I have to re-learn all the names of the animes!
Still, making a renaming script to replace the Japanese with english isn't such a problem...

[AOM 0.5.1.219] Uses 514Mb of memory just to start [DUPE]
Wait, make that 616Mb now it is "processing dump download.." I'm fairly sure it didn't always use up this much memory when it started.. It's crippling my system to start AOM! My hunch is that the data files on my disk are corrupted in some way, but rather than just delete them and hope for...

Notification of new AOM version
It'd be nice to have a little notice when a new AOM version is released. If AOM is the 'official' AniDB client, you could have something in the data dump which indicates the current AOM version, and have the client check against that at each refresh. And while I'm at it, it'd be nice to have Help > ...

Interestingly, I've just noticed that the status bar looks ok now I have re-opened AOM. I guess this means it captures the system colours on lauch and then uses this 'cached' value. I've expeimented with this a bit and found that this is the case, and it also appears to capture the 'progress bar bac...

[CSS/HTML] Text colour [CSSFIXED]
When I am using my (non-standard) windows colour scheme all of AniDB becomes unreadable, as the CSS (and the HTML <BODY> tag) do not specifiy a foreground colour. I use white text on a black background ( for night time viewing ), and I always have to change my colour scheme to make AniDB.net display...

I'd like to see this as well. I help run my Uni's anime society website and when we mention an anime we usually like to link to AniDB and AnimeNfo, it's nice to be able to make the pages using AOM, as the site's CSS is not complete ( and I've complained about it before, but no one seems to care that...

[AOM 0.5.1.219] Theme-related feedback [NOBUG]
I'm really happy to see that AOM works with non-standard themes, and I was very pleased to read a request for feedback on themes in the changelog. While this is not a bug report, here is some feedback on my inverted theme (white text on a black background, used for night viewing). I've included a sc...
