I'll say that only three are really epic anime and the other two just really appealed to me personally. Although Read or Die is kinda borderline in my opinion.

I recently saw something that a second season of Gunslinger Girl was confirmed. Can anyone tell me if this is true or just a rumor?

No Trigun? I'm surprised. Of course it may be me cause I watched it in conjunction with Cowboy Bebop, which in itself is amazing. But, yeah, Trigun.

Hmm...Kanon, Kimi ga Nomozu Eien, Saikano...
I think the only addition I can make is Haibane Renmei, especially the second half.

I read in Newtype USA that a second season was confirmed for Haruhi but as far as I know its still in production. I also would appreciate any other information on this.
