So thats a no? How long has he been working on it?

I've already got some experience working with TCP/IP enabled programs (made a nice threaded HTTPD server for fun).

I for my part haven't hear anything new about a linux client since I came here last september. The client is mentiened on http://www.anidb.net/client but that's all.

And this way or the other you can program anything you want if you ask me, there was another anidb client for windows before AoM by Hisoka which was pretty unusable - but you should be aware of the fact that if you want to have anything close to what AoM can do at the moment you will be in for some serious programming which will take quite some time.

Programming doesnt scare me ;)

I'd start right away, if I had the protocol docs. :)

I think this is great. A Linux native client is great because of the great new "features" the next Windows version will introduce (namely TCPA).

I guess once the support for Windowx XP is discontinued I will switch to Linux or something similar.
