Looks like somebody went and changed the Official Japanese title to "Ichigo Marshmallow" and switched "Ichigo Mashimaro" to a synonym.

"Ichigo Mashimaro" should be the official japanese title. Its written in hiragana as ma-shi-ma-ro. And it is written in english as such right on the official logo. If it was ment to be read as the english word Marshmallow it would have been written as Ma-shu-ma-ro and be written using katakana.
So "Ichigo Mashimaro" is the official japanese and "Ichigo Marshmallow" is a synonym.

Also "The Strawberry Marshmallow" is set as official english title. Last I checked Ichigo Mashimaro anything (manga, etc) isnt released in any english countries yet. IIRC "The Strawberry Marshmallow" is just a popular transliteration, and not a reflection of anything official. So it should be moved to a synonym.

Anyway, you've been beaten to the complaint by fanboi #1, but as whoever changed it wasn't around when Ulitma asked, and we (slightly ridiculously) don't have access to title creq history, nothing has yet been resolved.

Agree totally with the original poster. This seems like a very clear case and it's only controversial because Ultima let an incorrect change get through..
