Movie Trilogies

Post by tupou »

So should a movie trilogy clearly set in the same storyline be given one aid for the 3 movies or should each movie get its own aid?

Example of 3 movies in one:

Example of 2 movies with their own aid and likely another to eventually come:

It's a matter of vote: in one case you vote for different animes, in the other case you vote for different episodes.

And my vote here is to put the sequel/prequel related movies in the same anime : it makes things easier to browse.

Actually it depends on how they were released. Movies are generally released individually with a period of time in between the sequels. Unless they were FIRST shown together before they were , they should be different entries.

OVA's are sometimes also released one disc/episode at a time, but don't get a separate entry for each one... Personally I think we have way too many useless entries for movies that are essentially "movie series", so I'd be happy to see them get combined..
