Ok, you might want to clear you cache and update from scratch as this "crash" would probably cause some deleted entries to remain (aka, delete all but the local_ files).
AOM will keep working if you don't too though, just some stale entries will remain.

And emptying my cache would be doing exactly what? *confused*
Do you mean deleting my kowai info, or delete the "anidb.db" maybe? Or stop and restart the program?

anidb.db? AOm uses no such file.
Clearing cache = deleting all files except the "local_*" files in the kowai folder.
It just makes AOM redownload the AniDB information so it's up to date.
