first of all sorry if it's the wrong section but i really didnt know where to post it.
i always wondered why you guys have not created a mozilla search engine for anidb, since it would be really useful, so i searched a bit this morning and created one myself...
actually it's pretty easy, just copy and paste this text in a file called anidb.src and save it in your firefox/searchplugins folder (eg c:\program files\mozilla firefox\searchplugins).
Code: Select all
<search
version="7.1"
name="AniDB Search Plugin"
description="Search Animes on AniDB"
action="http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl"
method="GET"
>
<input name="show" value="animelist">
<input name="adb.search" user>
<input name="do.search" value="search">
</search>
i uploaded it converted here
it has to be an 16x16 icon and it has to be a jpg,png or gif. and have the same name as the plugin (eg anidb.png) (right click->save as)
i am sure somebody of you guys can make it become conform to the mozilla standards and then upload it to the mozilla search engine root! in this way people just would have to click on "add engines" in the mozilla window et voilà there would be a nice anidb search plugin
